The good ol’ sounds of folk music

Anyone who knows me well, knows I love folk, alternative roots, bluegrass, Irish folk music and the list goes on. I can’t help it, there’s an honesty and spirit to this kind of music that gets my toes tapping! As a result, photographing the Folk School of St Louis’ student showcase was a genuine pleasure. I had been taking ukulele lessons from the school and was excited to bring my camera along with my uke to the showcase.
